Neil deGrasse Tyson - "Howl's Moving Castle is a farce to physics as we know it." harrumph

Legally speaking, it's likely not that easy. If this were an issue of shipping internationally, they wouldn't bat an eye at doing it.

Great point. The game doesn't have to be difficult or even totally balanced to be fun. Sure, it does to a certain extent, but you see people enjoy games like Candy Crush (yes, I'm going to bring it into this discussion) and I think a big reason why people like it is because it celebrates all of the things you do in

I totally agree. The Super Mario Wii was really difficult I thought as well.

I worked for a few years at interactive/marketing agencies. Atlanta doesn't have the biggest game market, so I was kinda prepared to make my way around to working in the game industry and go after the money that was available to me.

Usually the people that want to make their own games will learn programming. From the experience of my friends, you'll otherwise end up frustrated that you have no means to express your ideas. They have ideas but aren't able to create the logic to have a working game mechanic on the screen. So they have ended up

I kid you not when I used to play NFL 2K (the original on the Dreamcast) I've seen plays pretty close to that good. I remember seeing two people bobble it and another defender leaping from off screen to make the diving grab right above the ground. It was magical. No football video games have been as fun in my book

I've been a bit envious of a lot of these scenes. I live in Atlanta and it's been hard to get a solidified core going here over the past five years. It's been difficult to find a consistent, sincere contingent of guys here that aren't simply trying to make it through school with all of their time. Either that, or

The part about the tank manual brings me back to the Jane's ATF game that came with a 3-ring binder. Really, any sim worth it's weight had a ton of data to pour over and a lot of the times you needed it. As a child, I studied that stuff like I was in flight school. That game and A-10 Warthog (for i386 computers) were

Best game glitch ever (spoilers) Heavy Rain

I'd see that for a dollar!

There's a lot of lighting that is in the game that help it all stand out. They have hand-painted normal maps for the rocks and multiple, well colored layers of depth that make it very apparent what is foreground and what isn't. This is coming from someone who has seen the game in person at least 3 separate times in

Hey Chris, you guys should come check out my studio's game, Robots Love Ice Cream, in the Indie MINIBOOTH on Sunday & Monday. Would love to meet you! Here's our presskit if you care to check it out beforehand.

The issue is that with Kickstarter, the project is "funded" so long as the project has enough people committed to backing it by the end date. The reality is all of those people don't have to pay or have a way for the money to come through.

Kinda wish he wasn't so muscular. He'd look much better if he played up the wife beater and his man boobs. I'm not knocking the display of skill, which is really good. I just would have preferred a more realistic portrayal of DeVito for comedic effect.
