The printers are around $250k, so you really have to be in it to win it. There are places (prototyping shops) that have these sort of machines that you can place orders, but that's going to run a lot more than just materials. Their time is going to be expensive and then they need to pay off the 1/4 million dollar

I think it makes sense that FFXIV will be a launch title for a new console, starting as an exclusive. That's the only way you can recoup the cost of development when it's gone this long on a new title (meaning not one they can re-approach from an existing title like FFXIII-2 did with FFXIII).

I think it's pretty awesome as well

I am not sure why it has been difficult, perhaps scale is an issue. I know the current Xbox 360 version only has a 1024 cubed area as the entire world size, as opposed to the endless nature of the computer version. Despite the 1024 cubed area still being really big, I feel like I noticed the difference in terms of

They could get rid of the box quotes part to put your useful information in. My personal thoughts on that section is if Kotaku wants to have the "quotes" information available, they can take the time and fire that information off to people that are actually asking for a "tidy quote".

I do. I can eyeball it now. But people who are on a diet or want to make sure they're not eating too much of certain things. I lost 10 lbs last year by watching how much I ate... it was all proportions. I didn't start eating anything else or stop eating anything. It was all quantity.

I'm not sure of the dimensions of the celery in the picture, but you should really measure the amount of peanut butter you're using. It looks like you've got well over a serving there (most list a serving as 2 Tbsp.). I had to check myself on this with my PB&Js. I was using well over one serving.

No Monster Cable actually touts this stuff themselves. Apple is not doing that here. They just made something and an enthusiastic came along and disassembled it to discover what was inside. And it's not really enthusiasm for Apple products. It's an enthusiasm for doing things in a way that shows care and elevating

I can hear him saying, "I will literally bury you!" as he begins delivering on his promises, :).

I didn't say that his statement was ignorant. I was just stating that if he was indeed saying that all Americans were fat and shoving their faces, then I would think the statement was a bit ignorant, because that's obviously not true. I was really leaving the door open for him to clarify, which he did in reply to your

"..that some Americans will shove..." - a 6' 2" 165lb. guy who eats healthfully and exercises once or twice a week.

Haha! You know what the f#@k this is!

I believe Mojang got a lot of concessions from Microsoft to make bringing it to the 360, as an exclusive, very tempting. I heard they don't have to pay to push updates, which is according to Tim Schafer is a $40000 charge per update!

It's not better. Microsoft is just shoving the Kinect down user's throats with lots of implementations that are more time consuming than it's preexisting user experience (UX) counterpart (read: the damn controller).

Haha, yea. Only problem is my team wasn't that great, so I probably wouldn't have expected them to make the play. Not to knock them, but we were pretty bad. I would pitch almost every game (in JV) and watching the fielders make plays was cringe-worthy. From picking up the glove too soon to double pumping the ball

I had this happen to me in high school. It went like this... (dreamy sound effects, waving screen)

If only is was "Hansen, the horse named after and sponsored by Chris Hansen".

I should apologize, because the usual strain of commenting I'm used to seeing is laden with sarcasm and, until your reply, I kept reading it as sarcasm.

Not sure if you're being serious, but I personally thought his comedic timing and his delivery were pretty good for a professional athlete. He's one of the few guests that I have seen cause the cast to crack up. The court testimony skit he did was a pretty good instance of his timing. His cadence on the delivery of
