Doesn’t the rumor mill keep suggesting that we’re going to get a four door version of the AMG GT? I wouldn’t be surprised to see that, and I honestly think it’s a great idea, the back seat will be great to have my secreta-er, kids in.

We’ve gotten a whole lot of content from you this week. Should I call a doctor if my attention lasts longer than four hours?
Again with the whole millennials-forsaking-V8s-for-boosted-fours thing....you olds can have my LS3 when you pry it out of my cold, dead hands!
This one was tough for me, in that I felt the price is a little high, but not unreasonable. I’d probably want to haggle it down a little, particularly knowing that I could get a manual, factory air car that’s also in need to work for about a grand less.
Toyota/Subaru, for the love of all that is good in this world,
I’ve actually seen at least two of these near where I live, and I saw two more when I went on vacation. Still incredibly low numbers, but I’ve seen them in the wild, even in WV.
Well this sucks, that’s one of my favorite racecars of all time. However, given its provenance, and being a racecar, I’m sure it’ll be fixed/restored in no time. Tis but a scratch!
Holy crap this is awesome. Not that I could ever afford one of these, but if I could, I would. That said, if Nissan ever decided to do one of these with a 370Z powertrain...for a reasonable price...
Anna, thank you for linking the Yes All Daughters initiative and their sign-up petition. It feels like I read stories like this all the time, and while it is beneficial to raise awareness to these situations, I'm glad that this one also provides a way for readers to take some action and help bring about progress…
I started reading this, and I was pretty enthusiastic about it. I know it’s worlds bigger than an original Mini, but taken on its own, as a modern compact wagon, it’s handsome, and roomy, and practical, and, and...then I saw the picture of the back. Maybe I’d like it better in person, or maybe it’ll grow on me over…
This crap kills me. I live in WV, and I see confederate flags on occasion, and I always want to remind them that we’re West Virginia, and not part of Virginia because we didn’t want to be part of the confederacy.
The price is high, but it’s a ridiculous car in general. If I could comfortably afford it, I’d buy it. It’s a manual, V12 Jag shooting brake!
So, when a manufacturer-employed test driver showed off a sophisticated, specialized control system on a straight, level, privately owned runway, likely with some sort of safety crew on standby, it’s automatically stupid because it’s not something you should do under normal conditions on public roads?
Bravo Travis. There’s a time and a place for everything, including automatic transmissions. My only car is a manual, which is great since it spends a lot of time on back roads, and a manual actually suits it. However, I’ve also tracked a properly fast car (SLS AMG) with a dual clutch, and guess what? It was a blast.…
CJ, what cars do you have in your personal garage, in addition to your P1?
That’s awesome! I drove a friends Jeep with a similar power-to weight ratio, and I had to stir the gears pretty hard to get around town, I bet I-79 is an adventure. I just signed up for the event this month and they made a liar out of me, it’s Saturday instead of Sunday.
Well now I’m curious, what model do you own?
My car is definitely far from exotic (2012 Camaro SS with a few modifications) but I do get comments pretty frequently, and they all fall into the same few categories:
I’d like to see something similar to this, but with a twist. The Corvette team seems pretty content where they are, but you know who could use a total world dominating car? Cadillac. Since Cadillac is making a legitimate effort into being taken seriously as a peer to the European brands, taking overall victory in…
the dash to axle distance in the sketch is significantly longer than the production 200, and long enough for it to be a rwd based car, which the 200 is not. They’re styled very similarly, but I don’t think it's badge engineering.
