I recently purchased a Samsung SmartTV and was struck by how awful the UI was (compared to a Sony not-even-that-smartTV previously owned.) I hope they had a different team for the Tizen project.

If you think about it, as nomads carrying around a bunch of 'stuff' wasn't very practical. If you have to carry something with you everywhere you seriously weigh it's value (pun intended).
