I am seriously disappointed in everyone here. This post has been up for over 40 minutes, and there hasn't been a single snide comment yet. Did all your little brains short-circuit in confusion over loving the LGBTQ community vs hating Lena Dunham so much?

He's clearly not creating work that is representative of Marvel's image so he should be removed from their freelance artist roster.

It is completely baffling.

His contract probably has him getting paid whether the covers see the light of day or not. He's not being punished. Marvel is just reacting to criticism from their audience. I don't see what's so awful about that.

Greg Land continuing to get work sort of mystifies me, since I don't think I've ever met anyone who actually likes his work. He's also not a very good story teller, which is a problem for comics.

I'm more worried about Greg Land illustrating the series than the one-off Milo Manara variant cover. Greg Land, aside from tracing his work from every magazine and comic book that he sees, can only "draw" people with an o face, also possibly traced from porn.

That's a great big font you have there. I guess what you wrote was really important but far too annoying to read.

Actually, yes. ESPECIALLY if I....you know....have a pulse because the person who simply watched a Youtube video doesn't actually know how to find one. But they saw the video, so they know how to just start pumping on someone's chest.

So we should forget it and the 15% it saves?

CPR isn't designed to wake you up/save your life - it's just a stop-gap measure. It's a "your heart won't beat? We'll beat it for you." The only thing that might save someone in cardiac arrest is quick defibrillation, which is why the first thing you do when someone collapses is find an AED. If you don't get an AED

Being a nurse and a certified CPR instructor, I know a few things about CPR :)

If you meet only one person in your life in cardiac arrest, you'll be thankful for a chance of helping them that's in the double digits.

Drowning is one of the most common causes of accidental death, especially among children. If you're not a skilled swimmer who knows how to swim with a possibly flailing person, the most important thing to know is that swimming out to the person should be the last resort. Family Doctor offers this mnemonic: "Reach,

Agree with your statement. I think the number is closer to 30% with countless variables throwing off numbers. The faster you get to someone, the higher the chance to save them. So, since you may not know the time, it is worth it to try and help until pros arrive.

Be careful swimming out to save someone from drowning. Often times, this leads to the rescuer drowning, too, because the person drowning will clamp on and drag them both under. Always approach them from behind and if they clamp on, just go under and they'll generally let you go. /former lifeguard

I would replace the bleeding control tips with advice on how to make an impromptu tourniquet. Done correctly it will take only a few minutes and will absolutely do a better job of stopping the bleed. That and military medicine has shown they can be left in place for up to 8 hours with no loss of limb function. -

On delivering a baby, it is important to note that as soon as the baby's head emerges, try to clear the airway. You don't want them to inhale any of that junk. And if anything other than the head presents, stay calm and wait for professional help. After tying off the chord, the placenta may come out on it's own (DO.
