I agree 100%. When you'd take the time to pan the camera up and look around, the game world was beautiful, but the downward angle hid a lot of scenery, and made it feel much smaller. I still enjoyed the game though.

Not all F2P models are created equal. Take Tribes Ascend, for example. I've been having a blast playing that game, and I haven't spent a dime. And I don't feel like I'm missing out, or underpowered because of it either.
