While Lando doing disco seemed somehow appropriate, everything else just made me want to facepalm. I think Tina being super cute was the only thing that kept me watching that video.

I disagree. Anything above a certain duration becomes essentially a life sentence, so adding a year wouldn't change anything. And I think a life sentence sounds about right.

Browsing the comments I think I may be the only person to agree with the article. One argument I saw several times was that publishers would never lower the prices of games. Another was that many people buy new games only because they know they can turn around and sell it and recoup half the cost. Well let's say

Several people on here are arguing about how WoW let's you have up to 10 people in a group (raid), but that is missing the point (at least how I see it). The point isn't simply to be able to group with 7 friends, or whatever, but to be able to share the game world with JUST your friends. No competing with strangers

That is straight up Lady Gaga.

I think the reduction of jaggy edges is pretty obvious. Not that it really makes the game any better, but still, there is an obvious improvement.

I wonder if the "Japanese games suck" sentiment is at all related to the fact that they don't seem to release games that people actually want in the West.

I don't think that's the best analogy, because Skyrim isn't linear like a book. If a linear game like Halo or Gears of War was 100 hours, then yes, that would be way too long. But in a game like Skyrim where you can set your own pace, the same rules don't apply. Skyrim is only a 100 hour game if you want it to be.

I could only watch about 20 seconds of that. It just doesn't seem very genuine. Too much babbling, nonsense, and overreaction because he knows he's being filmed.

I do the same thing. I actually recently considered selling my PS3. I went as far as seeing how much they were going for on ebay and craigslist. But then I remembered that I wouldn't have a bluray player if I sold it. That's literally the only reason I still have it.

I think the reason we have such different views is the fact that you seem to be just getting into MMOs, where I have been playing them for years and years. I admit, I freaking loved WoW, so I guess there's nothing inherently wrong with being WoW-like, except for the fact that I had played WoW for so long, that I was

I'm not sure, really. I think I just really WANTED to like it, and kept telling myself that "it'll get better once I get past the intro stuff, and get my character decked out."

This is why I only subscribed to The Old Republic for one month before cancelling. I really wanted to like it. I love Bioware's games. I love Star Wars. I used to play the shit out of Star Wars Galaxies before Sony fucked that up. But for all its' hype, TOR is just another WoW clone. One with voice-acting, and

It seems some commenters are confused. Blizzard is only trying to prevent them from getting a trademark on the name. They aren't trying to stop the game from coming out. Blizzard has a very strong case here because they were the first to use the term DOTA, and there is a strong association with that term to their

When I first heard about this, I thought for sure it was going to be a Wheatley companion. This is kind of lame compared to that.

So dramatic! Was that Inception music? This is all very impressive, but I have a couple of questions: How about some hair? That's the hardest thing to make look realistic, isn't it? Also, this is a pretty sculpture, but can they animate it?

My first character was a book collector. I only sold books I had duplicates of. I can't wait to mod in a library when the creation kit comes out.

In regards to the "U.S. wants to attack us!" people, I just want to point out that Ubisoft is a French company.

Does this mean we'll have to install all of our games, or have they solved the slow streaming speeds of Bluray disks?

I don't get it. These people want to cheat, but can't because of anti-cheat software, so they virtually steal an innocent person's copy of the game? How is that productive? How does that get them closer to their goal of being able to use cheats in the game? Besides, aren't there already servers that don't use
