In the modern age, I’m not sure I can accept the “not knowing any better” claim. There are loads of free resources online for artists to learn how to deal with basic contracts. A little common sense goes along way.

The one thing I want to see in the USA coming out of this in 2021 is a push for some form of universal healthcare. It’s obvious that a privatized for-profit healthcare system cannot adequately deal with a global pandemic.

The rate of transmission and infection with this virus is much much higher than any virus in recent history (which includes H1N1, ebola, etc).…
