Easy solution: Dont buy it.

"I don't like it, so it shouldn't exist."

I believe it has been stated by multiple parties that the Kotaku writer in question actually WASN'T a sexual partner. NOT THAT IT FUCKING MATTERS SINCE THAT'S NONE OF OUR FUCKING BUSINESS. (emphasis for effect, not to imply that I'm yelling at you, Otherhand)

There was a simmering anger about people like me — "Social Justice Warriors", as they call us — who are asking for change in the game industry: a better, broader representation of characters, among other things. We're "the cancer that's killing games", and Kotaku is seen as the key enemy site, with Polygon a close

And if it was actually about ethics in video game journalism, it would have started a long time before Zoe Quinn made an indie game for a novel concept.

That game would be... reticulous.

Getting the cat to look at the camera whilst you take the photo would be the hardest boss battle ever.

Just call it Hold Still Dammit.

there could be a game where you try to just take a picture of your cat in different shaped reticles. it would be the hardest most fun/frustrating game ever.

First smart move I've seen him make.

I think I was going to explode if you guys didn't cover this story. Thank you for giving it the attention it deserves. Kathleen Hale is a deeply disturbed person. It's horrifying to see so many people—including writers I thought highly of—defend her actions. If she had been a man, no one would be calling her piece

TL;DR: Author can't get over perceived slight, becomes terrifying stalker.

Well, that explains why the blogger was anonymous. Because apparently authors are fucking nuts.

well, only that they colluded with 4chan to create a female gamer character that is really a symbol of misogyny.

So you're opposed to free speech?

cartoonishly misrepresenting the other side is not really doing much for your argument. i'm a woman and i've played gta and i'm irritated by the cavalier violence against female characters. that's a legitimate complaint. it's not "hating on gamers."
