Also, one of the most insidious things about this, is on his official website he's offering to port people's RPG Maker games to Android for a fee of $1000. That is a major scam, which I've reported to the software's official admins who will be taking action against him.

they probably didn't know how to animate it

I think his name was even more mundane, I remember him as Reuben!

If I remember correctly from hanging around RPGMaker.net, the dude who made it was a guy called Jake who went by the name Darkdesign. I dare say I'd invoke Occam's razor, here.

Boogerman RPG!

I agree with you, but it's worth noting that not all RPG Maker games are garbage. Yes, there is definitely an ocean's worth of garbage out there due to the low entry bar to produce a functional piece of software, but there's also stuff like Lisa and To The Moon. A tool is only as good as the user.

I have it from a very reliable source that DQ7 3DS is on the way.

I usually hate this kind of thing, but Mother 4 looks...really incredible. It looks like it successfully captures the series' sense of humor, while also bringing back the sense of a grand adventure present in Earthbound that was missing in the (otherwise excellent) Mother 3.

Look at how thoughtless and derivative Silent Hill has been since 2009. PT looks like a return to form. Is it not fair to expect similar things of RE?

Little tip for Persona 4 that may put your mind at ease—if you fail to save somebody, the calendar rewinds by 1 week so you can level up and try again. I never had to make use of this myself, but it's there.

Just another 8 years to go!

Back during the beta, people would open up portals that teleported you to the black void at the very edge of a map. You couldn't move, you couldn't get out, even if you quit. You had to contact an administrator and ask them to put you back into the game. That happened to me a lot when I first started.

Once told a friend in high school that in the first level of Splinter Cell, you can grab a janitor and Sam Fischer says 'One wrong move and you can say goodbye to your nuts, fat boy.' My friend was on the fence about buying the game and that convinced him to do so.

also my boyfriend recently found me a first edition copy of The Iliad at a garage sale so I might give that a go

my mom once told me she was alone in an elevator with robert jordan and he let out a huge fart and then didn't say anything

I recently read Crichton's Sphere, because uhh Drew and Dan from GiantBomb were reading it and doing a podcast on it. Boy was that a piece of crap. Between all the ridiculous action sequences in which a fat old man fought a giant squid with a grenade-tipped spear, Crichton handled gender and race politics with all the

Heavier-duty hardware though.
