Agreed. Some things are just part of a smile factor. People are still amazed I can change the color gauges on my 4 year old Mustang. Sometimes the show-offy (technical term, look it up) are what make the car great.

In this case, since I was adding Brake cooling ducts, it was easier to take the rotor and caliper off as one piece: I just needed something to hold it up.

I want to punch my project car (in this case my daily driver) in the face. I buy it nice new parts, I clean and wax it, I want it to be all around better.

Swap Shifters. After the second rebuild, i had the dealer change the shifter becauser I wasn’t taking the car in its current configuration. They swapped shifters and it was 100% better. The way the shifter hangs off the back of the transmission, sometimes causes the actuator bar to bend which creates engaging issues…
