I attribute peer pressure with why I moderately liked Green Lantern. Seeing it with three other people that were really excited for it, and had a great time watching it really makes a difference.

That's what I do. Half a piece of toast with some peanut butter, and half a banana. No starvation mode. Banana for slight energy at beginning of workout, peanut butter toast for the last half of the workout.

lol. I only happened to see the movie since a friend rented it, from a Blockbuster no less. We watched it, then he brought it back for a refund on the rental.

As soon as I saw the liiiiiiiips on Snake Eyes, I was out.

Yes, though some meetups revolve around events (like the Tron meetup- we all watched Tron: Legacy then hit a bar afterward.) You get to put faces to names. I've met some people at the meetups that have turned into awesome real life friends as a result.

When originally announced, I think we all decided that Lifehacker was Batman & io9 was Superman.

I read it, and it seems spoiler-light.

Did you miss the Transformers 2 review? Edit- That's not to say that this one is all kinds of wonderful.
