One aspect of this that really pisses me off (bros being irrationally pissed off that girls don’t want to date them, that is) is that they completely fail to acknowledge that girls and women experience THAT SAME EXACT SHIT. I mean I guess to them, we aren’t fully human, so maybe that explains it.

The problem is guns. Not mental illness, not misogyny, not male entitlement. Those are other problems, with other solutions. The problem causing mass shootings is guns.

The approach needs to be multi-faceted. Mental health help is great - but you have to be looking for it or at least have someone else trying to access it for you. Sounds like this guy and his mother were in a bit of a bubble and she didn’t see the problem. There could have been a state of the art mental facility next…

Except you’re wrong. It could have still happened even if he’d gotten help for his mental health issues that we don’t even know he actually had. It could have happened anyway because of the proliferation of guns in this country and the ease in which they’re obtained.

He’s absolutely right. If his family lived in just about any other country he would likely not have spend the rest of his days as the disgraced father of a mass shooter.
