Yes, in ECO mode all bets are definitely off. It’s great for highway driving in cruise (if it’s not too hot out because it throttles the AC) but otherwise I tend to avoid it.

As a 2016 Civic owner, I can report that the CVT in this car is damn good. The turbo engine is punchy as hell and the transmission in no way detracts from the way it drives - power comes on fast and it stays in the fat part of the power band the way it should.

So all the solo-driver knobs clogging up Highway 50 between El Dorado Hills and Sacramento actually need shiny luxo-HD trucks?

I don’t hate this. Not even a little bit.

Probably good advice...

I finally saw - and took pictures of, natch - these cute little buggers in Portugal last month and I was immediately smitten. I told my wife that if we move to Portugal I’m buying one (a statement that immediately caused her to roll her eyes so hard I could hear it). Too bad it’s going away.

Looking forward to the Wagoneer teardown...

Season them or add salsa or some other sauce and cook them. They come out moist and tender and they’re great for salads, quesadillas, sandwiches etc. and
