This is such a great time for animation between this show, Gravity Falls (still rewatch), Steven Universe, and others. My favorite episode is where Marco goes on a quest which takes years and when he and Star finally meet again he’s aged into an adult while she has not. Star’s reaction to Adult Marco is hilarious and

Spiritually I see this show as the second coming of My Life As A Teenage Robot, one of my favourite shows with basically the same premise, but with robot culture instead of magic. I also see similarities to Teen Titans in terms of fleshing out the lore and telling a grander story through episodic moments (and then TTG

It’s really good. If you liked Gravity Falls or Steven universe, this falls around there with charm and story build. The title and art style can initially be deceiving on it’s maturity and range of audience.

Look at all the burners and their whataboutisms and feigning confusion about not being able to parse the article title.

jeez how about a spoiler alert

I see the concept art and all I can think of is this:

Because then there’s the possibility of some kind of drama engulfing the area where I’m exploring and that’s not fun. I’m trying to explore and have a relaxing time, I don’t want to have to interact with other players at all while I’m doing that. I interact with people all day at work, literally the last thing I want

I didn’t find out until 5 years ago that the guys who sang 3rd whitest song ever Rosanna also sang the amazing Georgy Porgy and I ain’t been right since. I’m still searching for the truth that the Reagan Administration murdered the Black man that sang “Never Gonna Give You Up” and Milli Vanilli’d his ass with Rick

Donald Trump threw the full weight of the White House behind Moore.

I mean, this is pretty much the whole point. One of the major themes is if she can ever be considered human, and she reads, immediately, as not-human, in a society that thinks poorly of her. By having her look very human, but off, it’s a perfect exemplar of this struggle within the audience.

One tip I have used (to varying degrees) and often recommend is this: You don’t HAVE to wait to the end of the month to pay your credit card bill in one lump sum. If you’re concerned about spending money you don’t have, then pay off your balance weekly, or at the end of the day if you’ve just made a large purchase. Or

We should make sure we’re moderating ourselves at the proper amounts of moderation. Just to be sure.

So yeah. White Democrats. They’ll fuck us over just slightly less than the GOP. Now get out and vote!

That’d kind of where in at. This shit is dumb as all hell, but the alternative is a racist child molester.

So if your choice is between a guaranteed and unwanted ass reaming, or things possibly getting better or, at worst, staying the same, you’d rather sit that decision out and let fate decide? That is some grade A stupidity.

Ummm... Women’s diving.

Although it’s not openly acknowledged, Aronofsky used the rights for Perfect Blue to completely adapt it as his own later film Black Swan. Although I liked that film, I was pretty bewildered to not see it noted as an adaptation of Kon’s film in the credits.
