However, some of the antics I have seen are just beyond anything I could imagine a driver in the US doing. But then, I do have to IMAGINE what we are doing. I want a dash cam.

We (in the US) buy most things without haggling. Allowing Tesla to sell direct would be just another example. Saturn had a no haggle price model and there were those that liked it.
