I consider myself someone who is comfortable doing anything. I have painted cars (with good results), rebuilt suspensions, I just rebuilt a steering rack, I am one of those weirdo’s who actually likes doing electrical, I am no stranger to a welder and making custom parts, and I have even done light interior work

My mom has a 20' crosstrek hybrid

The Cummins five-nine straight six. Timing GEARS, mechanical fuel injection, million mile bullet proof motor that could easily be pushed to 1,000+ horse power and torque numbers, on a budget. Jalop in fact did a write-up on it a while back.

Lots of performance motors, but let’s be honest here. The most legendary engine of all time is probably the Toyota 5S-FE. The boring little ~130HP 2.2L 4-Cylinder fitted to tens of millions of Toyota Camrys.

Volvo inline 5. 2.5, 2.4, 2.3. Smooth NA, powerful in R form. And will do 250,000 with proper maintenance.

Audi Inline-5 turbo. Good enough to conquer WRC, Pikes Peak, IMSA, and Trans-Am in just one decade.

The Jaguar XK6 engine.  This inline 6 was used in the XK150, E-Type, and various sedans.

Honda’s B16B, B18C, F20C, K20A

Straight six and rear wheel drive with a stick? Just like a Jaaag. Clearly a sports lorry. American style what with it being over 26,000 pounds.

Honda Beat anyone? Zebra print seats, white gauges with an 8,500 RPM redlinen and that was on EVERY SINGLE ONE, not one option, but the ONLY option. I mean yes some of the other entries here beat (haha get it?) this out, but were mostly limited editions or uncommon options, rather than the one and only choice, except

“Sorry I tried to spitroast your mom...”

Remember that Archer episode about this?

Base 60 numbering.

I meant the one with the auto.

I’m pouring out an ice cold can of Rich Energy tonight in your honor. You will be missed.

Why use “poor man’s fiberglass”? Fiberglass isn’t that expensive...

The C7 is one of the best looking Corvettes. The C6 looks like a cartoon. It’s bubbly but not sleek. It accentuated everything wrong with the C5. Higher drag, more weight, worse power to weight, worse performance.
