Atheism is not a system of beliefs. No more than not believing in Astrology is a system of beliefs. However you feel about the Hindu gods, that’s how atheists feel about your god.  That’s it.  You don’t need to know or care about how the universe was created to be an atheist.

I’m with you here. I don’t get parents that put up with whining. My kids (now 11 and 14) do not whine because IT NEVER WORKS. Just like people don’t whine at the sun for setting, my kids don’t whine at me.
