I was thinking the same thing. I would love to someday go see an F1 event but if I am going to spend $10K+ for a weekend, it better be a historic, iconic, place like Monaco and not the place I can go to for a cheap getaway any other time of year.

I saw Happy Gilmore in the theater with friends. There ws this older guy a row or two behind us complaining about how he wouldn’t do nearly as well as the film had him doing on the circuit because his short game was so bad. I was silently amazed.
