I think if you followed fashion or read those magazines, you knew who she was. To me, a supermodel is a household name, which is why I knew the other names sararueful2 mentioned growing up, but not Dickinson (I’m a little older than you).

Yup. Late Gen X here and I didn’t hear about her until ANTM.

Honest question: Was Janice Dickinson REALLY a “supermodel”? I think of supermodels as the Really Big Names who are ubiquitous. I was a kid in the 70s and I knew who Lauren Hutton, Christie Brinkley and Cheryl Tiegs were, and then learned of more big names as I got older, but I never, ever heard of JD until her

...I mean, Julie Andrews had to call it a night at some point, tough shit for Janice Dickinson that it was right before her.

That’s great, but truly I do not need to read about Giuliani’s daughter’s penchant for menage a trois.  TMI

I have no problem at all with the age difference, but if you read the book by his former wife, Linda Thompson, excuse me.. ONE of his former WIVES, because there have been a bunch..he comes off as a very narcissistic ass and once the honeymoon phase is over, he’s cold as ice and on to the the next woman. Narcissists

My personal rule is, if you could have driven yourself to the hospital to visit them when they were born, you are too old to date them. It’s served me well.

Yeah, how is him pursuing her less creepy, considering their ages and the power dynamic?

It would be less weird (only slightly) if he didn’t have children her age. When you’re dating women younger than your children (daughters specifically) I get extra suspicious.

I’m still puzzled by the fact that Katharine McPhee dated the adorable Elyes Gabel for years and then went to...this guy?

If you believe (as pretty much all the evidence shows) that negative reinforcement doesn’t work, and that (again, as the evidence shows) harsh punishments don’t work as a deterrent, and you don’t consider revenge to be the same as justice, then the whole concept of locking people up as a punishment is a non-starter.

I don’t like any of his music, but Lil Nas X has a massive following on social media and is pretty damn hilarious. I see him as more of an internet celebrity than a musician at this point.

Thank you! As an adoptive mom who has answered questions from “how much did she cost?” to “what is she? Guatemalan?” I think it’s truly none of our business. And FWIW, my kid is Chinese. I even had some dumbass ask if she was Alaskan. Christ. Leave people’s kids - and the people with the kids - alone.

Why are people so fussed about where the baby came from? Unless they’re kidnappers on the down low, it was clearly either adoption or surrogate. If they don’t want to make it public to the world at large it’s their business.

Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, and Eduardo.

I think the deal (and that article is, as you note, unhelpful) is that they are sex reveals, not gender. The two are not the same, and we can’t know the gender.

The people who can’t seem to understand what Harry and Meghan talk about when discussing privacy and how intrusive british media have been are people who absolutely violate other people’s boundaries

I certainly don’t have facts to add to this conversation, but I’m not convinced by that argument. The premise of a GGW video is that these girls want to show their bodies. They’re in public places or well lit spaces in front of a photographer. These aren’t peeping videos. The viewer doesn’t “get to see” their bodies,

There’s a good book out there by one of the guys who worked for Francis in the early 2000s era of it, and then briefly in the later 2000s. He said they got sloppier over time about age verification - initially, they’d partner with a bar or venue and have age gating, such that anyone who went in there knew they could
