While I agree with you that it would be better if those people were helping match eligible people to vaccine, the bigger picture is the sooner the more of us get the vaccine in our arms the better. If some people skipping the line makes that happen sooner, I’ve got bigger fish to fry.

One of my good friends took her parents to get their first jabs. Their appointments were at the end of the day, so when she was there she put her name on a wait list and hung around. When they were done with appointments they had some doses left over, so she got one, and is scheduled for her second one next week.

Really, though, as long as efforts have been made to offer them to the elderly or essential workers first, why shouldn’t people do that? The leftover vaccines will just go to waste.

I’m gonna drag on Katy Perry. If she really wanted to help, the place to have this talk is in the green room after the show, not on camera. Just like everyone else in this shitshow, Perry is exploiting this girl for her own image and bullshit.

I don’t think there are.  If you check out the @justiceforclaudiaconway TikTok it’s pretty clear that other young people see what’s going on... but somehow every adult in her life appears oblivious.
