@mugenkits: Don't worry, the big blue ball is able to change colour. You can have it in pink if you would prefer.

@AnthonM2: No-one ever laughed at their profit margins.

@Psudonym: Actually a bulb at each end was shown in the earliest patent sketches, but apparently the on-board accelerometers provide accurate enough orientation information that this isn't necessary.

I'm amused by the number of people in this thread (and even the OP) suggesting that they do away with the light bulb. Great idea, as long as a light-emitting sphere isn't absolutely fundamental to the entire motion tracking system. Oh, wait...

@TheBrainNinja: "Seems like the council was willing to essentially sacrifice Ahsoka on the gamble that she'd chill Anakin out."

@Gregory Morehead: There are always two. The master and the apprentice. Uh, unless we want to do Star Wars: Hannah Montana in which case there's the master, the apprentice and the apprentice's apprentice. After all, Anakin was still Obi-Wan's padawan between 2 and 3.

@Laronvas: Remember, Anakin is one seriously troubled young man ("they're like animals... and I slaughtered them like animals.") He probably cares very little for the clones under his command. I fear dark times lie in his future ;)

@ParadeDC: Nah. I suspect that Sony's double-whammy of PS3 Slim and Final Fantasy XIII exclusivity (in Japan) means that there's little point right now. Better to come back fighting when Natal is available.

@WhiteMage: The Germans aren't trying to pretend it didn't happen. They are trying to make sure that nothing like it will ever happen again.

@HenryHSH: TWO Kotaku stars?!! Such unspeakable power is the province of the divine deity alone. Humanity is just not ready.

@-MasterDex-: Ah, the burden of the star. The awesome weight of responsibility. The endless strive towards moral purity. The constant fight against personal bias. It's a lonely life, and not for everyone... (cue "lonely man" theme from The Incredible Hulk)

@jcb231: I'm sure that, even then, developers realised that they would never deter the hardcore pirates. Their intention was simply to deter everyone else. Given that most people didn't have access to the "internet" (BBS's primarily) back then, it was much more difficult for a pirate to globally distribute a cracked

"holding up a piece of colored film to your screen to read off a secret code, Transformers tech-specs style"

@[ZTF]Is my Name: Indeed. Given the amount of interest that the new movie will generate and the ease of making a computer game about playing games inside a computer, it would be far more of a story if no game was planned.

@bfwings55: Remember, we still don't even know the secret of his powers.

@wahrugene: It plays God Of War Collection.
