So not so much Steam, as... Steamy?
So not so much Steam, as... Steamy?
Looks like a lot of fun; my ancient first gen iTouch was never really able to run the first one, but now I've got myself a fourth-gen with iOS5 I'm really looking forward to trying this one out.
The crucial point is this (taken from another of KaKaRoTo's tweets):
@rich8606: This is mostly significant as part of Sony's "Playstation Suite" strategy for putting Playstation games on the Android platform. Whilst these will initially be PS1 games, the long-term idea is that developers will be able to create games that can run on both Android and on the NGP. This will help to address…
Well played, Valve. Now that you've ported the latest version of Source over to the PS3, how about porting over your back catalogue? Pretty please? There's a lot of PS3 owners willing to hand over their cash for L4D...
@KillMurderSuicide: Er, too late. It's now been hacked, and hacked so fundamentally that a new firmware revision isn't going to be able to stop it. At this point the battle switches to keeping hacked consoles off PSN, and there's still quite a lot Sony can do on that front.
"Now if you've already seen the movie and don't agree with me, then you probably have really different taste."
@William Chandler: That's a completely valid point, but I actually found her a lot less attractive (and a lot more annoying) as Quorra than when she's just being herself.
@AcidCrownie: I'm a devoted sci-fi fan with a degree in Computer Science and who loved the original Tron movie. I'm probably the ideal demographic, and yet I also thought it was very disappointing.
@Oibotic: Oscar worthy? Obviously not, but the original Tron was at least imaginative and thought-provoking. It would have been nice if the sequel had been either.
@Xeiphyer: Regardless of how "invalid" her opinion may be to you, I absolutely concur with it - and I'm several decades older then 8.
@Jammy: Wasn't Alfred the equivalent of a James Bond character back in his prime? Probably not unreasonable that he would tend to keep himself in pretty good shape for an older gent.
@Dr Durdon: Well, if I had to play devil's advocate, I'd argue that since the weapon in question is alien technology it may have almost no weight and recoil - in which case, his grip may be entirely adequate.
@brockishard: I believe he's in fact from a dimension not of sight and sound, but of mind...
@dragon83: The rendering resources of the PS3 (or indeed anything else) are not infinite. Sometimes you have to make a trade-off, and just try to find the best compromise.
@mintycrys is on an UBER STREAK!: Joke, presumably, with Polyphony being first party...
It's nothing to worry about if your competitors criticise your product.
@6EvuK9: Day fucking ONE!
"However, games like this even have game modes to help players improve. Whether they actually do, well, that's up to Lady Luck."
@DELICIOUS BUNNY: Pick it up on PC, but wait until the Christmas Steam sale to pick up ME1 and ME2 all-DLC-included double-pack for about $20. Replay the (vastly superior) PC version of ME1 and transfer your save file over. Sorted!
