I super feel for MIA. I have two friends who are dealing with baby daddies who seem to think that coming by one every couple of months and bringing loads of presents on birthdays & Christmas 1) makes them a good father & 2) entitles them to just as many rights as the moms who not only are solely financially

I'm not "attacking" the girl, but she consented to this situation. At some point you have to take responsibility for the decisions you make. She admittedly made the decision to sleep with this man & depend on him financially. If she now wants to share her story in an effort to warn other girls of what could possibly

Who is Adam Levine? Is he some D-list celebrity or something?

Um no, that still sounds like more work for me.

I don't find that surprising. Neither of them are very likable, in their own special & unique ways.

As soon as I sent that comment your way I told myself I should wait until I'm fully awake and not crabby before I go sending people comments. I apologize for my tone.

The prize for most whiniest bitchiest culture goes to white culture. You all bitch about EVERYTHING.

We all know women who think misogynism makes them cool. The kind of girl who says she doesn't have any girlfriends because "bitches are drama" so they hang out with all their dude bros. It's a thing. I see it all the time. These are the girls who eat salads at Hooters.

Some of us were not saying feminism was unneeded, we were saying it has become problematic and that it doesn't address very important issues for many women. Some of us feel that feminism needs to evolve while some even suggested it not be called feminism anymore. These are all valid perspectives. I read that article

That is EXACTLY how I took it. All of it. And then that very uncomfortable sex scene & what happened there. There is a part of me that relates so much to her reaction of discomfort, fear, and shock, and yet even though they end the scene with her vocalizing her dislike & him asking if she was through... I'm not too

I totally agree with your conclusion. The whole episode was painful to watch and ultimately my take was that the scene between Natalia and Adam had little to do with Natalia and everything to do with Adam's self destruction. It was excruciating and I felt violated for her but I also felt devastated for him. I thought

"What didn't seem realistic at all was that Natalia, whose mother is in recovery, was totally cool with Adam fully relapsing right in front of her face. And she participated!"

But was she saying no to the sex, or no to getting eaten out? My take was that she didn't want his face down there.

It was an uncomfortable scene to watch. From the moment he told her to get on her hands & knees and crawl to his bedroom all the way to the point he told her he wanted to fuck her from behind, she went with it. There was no question what his intentions were. The only time she said no was when he went to cum on her

If you need to hit your child to teach discipline, it is not your child who needs the lesson in discipline.

Which is worse: to be a chucklefucker or a chucklefucker fucker?

^This. I'm 5'4 and I come from STOCKY stock on both sides of my family. Though most people think 160 would be super overweight for someone of my height, it really isn't for me. My lowest weight that I ever got to was around 140 and I seriously couldn't lose any more at that point. I had been a healthy vegan for two

I like the guys in Girls a lot better than I like the girls.

I can't WAIT to change my last name AND I still get to keep my initials.

I agree with everything you have said. If feminism does not want to die it needs to evolve, and quickly. It needs new leaders, new spokespeople, and new formats. It needs to start functioning horizontally rather that hierarchically.
