I feel like Stray wouldn’t have a hard time jumping the game to film/TV wall given the episodic structure of the game.

We can hook up low pressure air to condition the cabin on the ground at the gate. I’m and airline pilot and most major airports jet bridges have this option along with power. Sometimes it’s too cold, and other times it’s too warm. Example, Houston. It’s 68F and they put heat on the plane, I had to track down someone…
High school and college aged people? Lots of cross-over.
I went with The Exorswift myself.
They make Doggles for dogs so they can do this.
Grocery stores installed self checkout because they knew that there would be problems with maintaining staffing levels when baby boomer hit retirement age. See also, fast food self ordering kiosks.
WTF for? They don't have any money or anything. Some Cyber criminals are just idiots I quess.
Only way streaming will survive vs piracy at this point and be profitable is to go back to a central service like Netflix used to be. Maybe a shared platform where companies are paid based on how much the content is viewed and amount of content contributed to the platform.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Disney was automatically counting people who got Disney+ plus automatically as a promo when activating services like wireless or cable bundles even if customers never registered to use the service.
Yeah, there are more than enough reasons to hate on Elon these days, but I really do find this lawsuit puzzling. ITAR is really stringent on its requirements and the idea that non-permanent citizens are actually allowed comes as a surprise to most in the space community.
So what is Russia trying to accomplish by pissing off every country in the world except China and North Korea?
... game stores... remember... it took Magic: The Gathering YEARS to make people think that their packs were worth that much... it’s an ounce of cardboard and ink with no meta to justify high prices! Start low! Undercut the big guy! Get people excited! Even packs at $7 a pop would be justified! And also? YOU HAVE MSRP…
Wow it's like the "instead of bonuses we're having a pizza party" thing that businesses do, but even worse. At least then you get a meal.
Genuinely curious how this one shakes out, because I honestly could believe that SpaceX thought they shouldn’t hire anyone who might run afoul of restrictions related to national security (given that they do a bunch of defense-related stuff and have launched completely classified satellites).
There’s no money in this anymore.
You know perfectly well what they mean, and it’s absolutely an appropriate use of that word.
While accurate, those numbers don’t tell the whole story, namely that Disney+ raked in more than $7B, but also spent an unclear amount, which appears to be in the neighborhood of more than $7B on streaming content production and acquisition, and would balance out perfectly if it were $7.659B. This is not an uncommon…
Then streamers should be paying higher upfront fees for the work. The deal with writers always was, you’ll pay us a smaller amount up front and, if the show becomes a hit, we’ll make more money on the back end because the show gets sold into syndication and we’ll get paid a little whenever our episodes air.
Except that it was the AMPTP that called for the blackout. The WGA wants transparency, The AMPTP wants to manipulate the news cycle to divide WGA membership.
In case it wasn’t already obvious which side was the assholes, only one side of this debate DEMANDED a media blackout to keep things “in good faith” and then IMMEDIATELY leaked their proposal to the industry trades that THEIR OWN MEMBER LITERALLY OWNS.
