I just do not get this argument. “In real time the refs get this wrong so the wrong call is really the right one” just makes no sense to me on any level.

Oh no they got the call right! What a nightmare!

When I went six years ago, I was in the upper deck behind the stage/ramp, and no lights were ever shined in our faces. Had a great view of the ring.

They need to split into a two night event. One hour pre show, main show goes between 3 and 3.5 each night.

Thing is, though, you have to hit the rim. That's what makes it so hard.

He does specifically mention it in The Avengers, and is officially only brought in as a consultant to track the Tesseract, then he decides to get involved.

So. Much. Wrestling.

Because he’s a 61 year old survivor of a stroke and cancer who got sneak attacked?

Considering that the NYPD released a statement about what charges he's facing, I'm going with it not being a work.

It’s especially infuriating because Bruce and Booker are very close friends and even then Bruce wouldn't stand up for him.

Hey, wresting bears used to be a fairly common thing...

It’s been a slowly growing thing the last 15 years. In 04, ROH ran a show on town. In ‘06 they ran two (plus one in Detroit two days before Mania in Chicago)

Unless they actually win the East, they have no claim to bring better than the 01 team.

I don’t think it was tasteless to bring up Owen’s death at all, but it worth noting that the interview clips with Bret were actually from before Owen died

Red Vines in a motherfucking walk

Almost certainly real. If it was a work, it's the greatest work in the history of the business.

Short version: Vince McMahon reneged on Bret’s contract. Bret signed with WCW while still being WWF champion. Bret and Shawn Michaels had some serious real life issues with each other. Bret refused to lose the belt to Shawn. Was willing to drop it to other people though. Vince wanted Shawn to win it. Finally came to

I’m not sure this is the big announcement it looks like. They’ve been calling both this and the Universal Title match the main event for weeks. They tend to promote two to four matches as main events every year at Mania. And Vince tends to not make up his mind on which match closes the show until at least the week of,

It literally changed both after it hit the backboard, right along the back and far side of the rim. Backboard, stops spinning, either touches or almost touches the rim, direction changes and rotation resumes.
