When I read The Hunger Games, I kept thinking about The Long Walk and not the more obvious Battle Royale

It’s one of my favorite King stories, but Christ I don’t know how you make it work on film.

It was. Or at least it was the only reason Bruno stuck around. He quit pretty much the second David was fired.

Bruno was, by all accounts, 100% drug free, unlike the vast majority of the guys who died tragically young.

He was a heel against Castle on TV while working face on house shows against Daniels. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ he’s drawing money

Lethal is in a weird position. He’s an absolute great wrestler, has been a top guy for them, but right now they don’t want him on top but they aren’t willing to really lower him.

Even Cody is generally a face when not involved with Kenny in ROH. I mean, he worked pure white meat babyface against Taven last night.

DEE-TROIT BASKETBALL

My best argument in favor of tanking:

The best part of that was Tom Morello’s open letter response. Can you imagine having a member of your favorite band literally tell the world how much he specifically hates you?

The best/worst part? Bix missed at least as many shows as he went to.

One of the anonymous anchors shared the relevant portion of the contract. If they get fired (some not posted clauses excepted) they owe Sinclair the exact same thing as if they quit. It’s all one clause.

“Well fuck” - every opposing pitcher

They gave to losing for Lent. Lent is over. Go Blue.

Pedantic wrestling pet peeves alert: he wasn’t a transitional champion because he lost the belt back to the same guy. I hated when WWE said that with Edge. Iron Sheik was a transitional champion, moving the belt from Backlund to Hogan.

4 is significantly better than 2 or 3.

I can do three.

This was me trying not to come across as a complete homer for my team.

Especially when they are also a borderline elite defensive team like Michigan
