Most of the time Wal-Mart censors the cover. They've been doing it for a while now.

That's right! I knew I was having a conversation with SOMEONE about it, but I couldn't remember who! This whole system of approving people is complex and shady.

I brought it up in the comments section of the article about Kaling. Many people were glad I brought it up. However, I was in the grey and apparently no one saw it. I was frustrated by it not being mentioned for the exact reason you mentioned. She gets a lot of credit and she has a TON of creative control over

I remember watching The L Word long after it was off the air and I was just kind of blown away by all of it. I had a lot of issues with that show, but damn it was sexy.

I watched it this weekend and I LOVED it. I know nothing about fashion (as I sit here in my old lady thrift store cardigan), but it was fantastic. Gina Gershon wasn't orange enough or leathery enough though.

My thing is, I'm afraid I'm going to miss something. It's crazy. Whatever happens is going to happen whether I find out about it now or when I wake up in the morning.

I'm beginning to think I'm over-stimulating myself. My laptop is out of commission for the time being, and so now I JUST have to watch tv instead of watching TV and surfing. Does anyone else have this problem?

My brother, who I adore, will not leave me with my nephew alone. That is one of the most hurtful, ignorant things I've ever experienced. I don't know if he thinks the "crazy" will wear off on the baby, but even so, I don't ever get to really babysit. Makes me sad.

The country needs to discuss mental illness in a way that brings awareness and decreases stigma for those who suffer from it. There has to be a way to help those in need without stigmatizing them for getting help. I think that is an issue that isn't discussed. If you get help for a mental illness, people*

My first crush was Tony C. He was a ginger and had the most adorable freckles on the back of his neck. My last name starts with an F so he always sat in front of me in class. We had a TON of classes together because we were both honor students and I would stare at that neck for HOURS.

I'm curious about something so please forgive me if it comes across crass. Has she ever really talked about her emotional issues in public? In light of Amanda Bynes and what not, I'm rather surprised we never heard more about Britney.

Busch in a can has very few teeth in his head and you once convinced him you needed a passport to visit PA. However, he always tells you you're pretty.

Very true. So much happens in that show that sometimes I forget. I just really liked their argument where they both stripped down. This may sound lame, but I liked seeing different MALE body types semi nude. I get so sick of six pack abs.

I know! His metaphors are the best. I think his relationship with James is my favorite. I just love James nerdishness, and the fact that he was a slut before he met Cyrus!

MJB speaks the truth! It took me a long time to realize that people, for the most part, don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. So when someone reacts to you in a negative way, you just have to let it go because it probably has absolutely NOTHING to do with you and it's mostly about them. No more drama!

These are all so amazing. It just makes me wonder what it would have been like to be a woman back then.

That drinking game is dangerous! Be careful out there!

I second everything you said. I need both drugs and therapy to manage my bipolar. A doctor once told me that the meds can be about 30% of what it takes to feel better. They kind of give your brain a boost so you can get out of bed, take a shower, and function at a base level. Then the rest is therapy, diet,

I love Moon River. I loved it in Breakfast at Tiffany's of course. But it really got me in the last episode of season 4 of Sex and the City. The one where Big is leaving, and they dance in his empty living room with the red bedroom wall in the background. Gets me EVERY time.

I love houndstooth! I don't know what it is about it, but I love it.
