Jessica Jones is a retcon character and the earlier episodes are closer to how the comics were. They just introduce the character like she had always been there, even though that wasn’t the case.

Also, lingerie bags are your friend. I was a ton of stuff that should be done on a gentle cycle in a lingerie bag instead and it holds up well.
