Jessica Jones is a retcon character and the earlier episodes are closer to how the comics were. They just introduce the character like she had always been there, even though that wasn’t the case.

Also, lingerie bags are your friend. I was a ton of stuff that should be done on a gentle cycle in a lingerie bag instead and it holds up well.

I work Columbus day myself but I can tell you in the area I live in, it is a pretty big shopping day. There was a lot more traffic than normal that day coming home from work right in the area by the mall.
