Well Torchwood was supposed to be the mature adult show for Doctor Who fans. How mature it turned out to be is questionable. But Doctor Who is aimed for the whole family, while Torchwood was not. Still, the whole getting upset over a kiss was silly also.

We had one of these but our house was stuck by lighting and blew the TV. My Dad went out to replace it and brought back a VCR (this was like '82-'83). My Mom and I were like what are we going to do with that, without a TV? In the end we had that VCR for like 20 years.
