PA has a statewide rate of 6%. There are only two exceptions, one being Philadelphia county that adds 2% on top of that and Allegheny County adds 1%.

Interesting to note also, I live in PA. Our State sales taxes is 6% but I only seem to have to pay 3% on Amazon. Not sure why though. The sales tax addition didn't really change my buying habits. There are a lot of things that I can find much more easily on Amazon then have to go try and shop for it.

I think a B.A. is covers much of the same as the Arts degree. But in the U.S. you can say you have a Bachelors but you can have either a B.A. Bachelor of Arts or a B.S a Bachelors of Science. I have a B.S. even though I went to art school because my field is working with computer technology.
