haha none of us have a future, at least these guys are having fun

I do not believe you have watched the video. Perhaps some... further review... is necessary?

I want to do a kickstarter and just fund these two guys going to various live events and being in the background.

Bell had a pretty ridiculous celebration after his TD, was expecting to see it in gif form

Pretty weak of him to blatantly model one of the shirts from the new Joe Flacco Signature Collection.

Embracing it, gotta respect that.

Oh, I am not against people who say they don't enjoy the women's game or soccer in general. That's not hate.

Completely agree. Since the panel doesn't work weekends, the weekend editions of FSL are much stronger with just Jay and Dan.

During the season it averaged 336,000 viewers, according to sportsmediawatch, although I believe those numbers only reflect the ratings for actual televised games, not studio stuff or original programming.

I thought I was being spoofed the first time I watched it, but overall it's a nice break from the repeated [insert ESPN story of the day] bashings to the head that the WWL provides.

I think those guys are great and I have made FSL my morning sports show to watch while I get ready for work. I enjoy it a lot more than SC, hope it catches on with others too.

Jay and Dan have been on American television for a week and a half and they're already much better than anyone on ESPN.

So, are you guys liking Jay and Dan? Are they getting any traction at all Stateside? Sorry, it's in Canadian DNA to be mildly obsessive over what Americans think of us. Also in our DNA to start sentence with sorry.

Part of the issue is that people still perceive ESPN as a news outlet, which lets be honest, they haven't been since the likes of Olberman (original run), Patrick, and Eisen were all on board.

I'd love to see Deadspin promote an official boycott of everything on ESPN that's not a live sporting event. A massive dip in ratings/coverage will be the only way they'll ever consider putting some worthwhile programming back on the air in place of all the Cold Take clones that have come to dominate the network.

The unfortunate thing is that this awful "debate" really took away from Jay and Dan, who are spectacular.

Before the outrage machine goes into full force, it's important to remember that "we were bored" or similar sociopathic-sounding explanations by juvenile offenders is actually relatively common. Kids don't process the consequences of their awful actions like adults, which is why (at least back in the 60's) we make the

It is. Next month it's becoming another FX channel, called FXX. They're moving "Always Sunny" and some of the other FX shows to it.

Fox has NASCAR, it doesn't need a wider audience. NBC has F1 and almost all of the Indy Series. Fox Sports 1 will not do anything beneficial for autosports.

If SPEED has to be sacrificed to kill the monster, then it's worth it. If a hundred more channels need slaying to kill the ESPN monster, then it's worth it. Fuck ESPN.
