I had a hard time getting past “director Guy Ritchie.” Also, the idea that a British director or UK based Disney casting people don’t know of any British actors of Asian descent is, well, un-freaking-believeable. 

There is more of this than you think. The Israeli/Asian pairing in “Fast and Furious 6" quickly comes to mind. But if it has to be limited to pairings of characters you care about in movies you like, then you will probably never be satisfied.

I know no spoilers, have not read much speculation, but just in terms of drama, I would bet that at least initially, Cersie will do spectacularly well, if only because she seems to be so clearly over-matched.

I read your post. I disagree with you about what makes a Bond movie “fun.” For me, it ain’t comedy. Not at all. I said that “From Russia, With Love” is the best Bond movie in because the action and thrills provide the fun. There is some dark humor. But no campy fun. No comedy.
