You will no longer need to switch inputs when going from TV to streaming services to gaming. You will just use input one for the XBox One, with the cable box connected to the XBox One. The XBox One will handle gaming/streaming and live TV all on one input.

I would say you'd place Xbox One as "Input One" on your TV and never need to change it.
