Well, first the being predicted Desmond and spoke to him directly in front of Ezio, then Ezio, after a long time had passed during AC:Revelations, kind of figured out about Desmond amongst other things and spoke to him as well (I believe, it's been awhile), but only after piecing everything together due to the god

:( Humanity-faith restored partially!

oh right. It wasn't really quite time travel really. The animus is more of a... using a person's genes to re-live an ancestor's moments; like a simulation of a person's life. And the whole presence thing was more along the lines of the beings that came before predicting someone would be using a device like the animus

I completely understand where you're coming from. I enjoy the storyline though, which i'm aware you were by no means shooting down anyone that did. Also, I'm not aware of any time travel element present to the storyline, could you elaborate? that just lost me. XD

Shit because you don't 100% understand it? Maybe if you delved a little more... As others have said, they aren't aliens. They would, more specifically, be beings that came before us whom also created us; "Gods", if you will. There are beliefs in society that believe in that exact thing or a shade of it; even some

Interesting... I'm definitely going to check the site out more. Any idea when Polygon's own site will be out, or is it still TBD?

That's what I had heard, was hoping they had the site up by now. :( I like how The Verge's layout is, though it can be sort of... Crammed, I guess? The commenting system seems rather basic and ordinary, I haven't really checked it out much though. Guess I should.

Is polygon even up yet? Or am I missing something...

It's actually quite healthy if you can build the pattern correctly; they were on the right track. I believe it's called REM sleep. I only read a few articles about it, so I don't know all of the details, but it's worth looking into due to it being interesting.

I thought it was incredibly interesting when it was first announced and shown in Gameinformer way back when. A shame it's ending up exactly like I Am Alive... Switching developers and having them change all of the original aspects to better fit something else... The original idea had a lot of potential, even if it

Not really. It has a unique art style; one that doesn't look bad at all. Though, the textures LOOK a bit low; some parts of that could be intended due to the art style, or just due to consoles — who knows and cares, the gameplay is what should be standing out here.

Not really. It was a true and fair point. There's literally a handful of mods that do the exact same thing this DLC does, stating that doesn't translate to arrogance... Assuming arrogance just makes you sound bitter.

For some? About the same amount paid for a console. For me? Under $1,000 and it beats everything thrown at it with its GTX 570, 8 GB of ram, and hexacore cpu clocked to 4.1 ghz. And to think... That's not really needed for most people to play video games really. (I do video editing and other things, so it all gets

Man, this new system is just constantly biting. I didn't like the previous system at first, but grew accustomed to it; actually started preferring it. But this? This is a bit more... I don't know...

It's horrible what they did to this game. :( They had such great ideas in the beginning, unfortunately delays and developer switches muffed a lot of the original ideas up, it seems. The game's apparently not that bad, but still... The original idea and concept/game had so much potential.

Sorry for the delayed response to this, but I've been busy with other things. Anyway, I don't recall saying dayz COULDN'T run on the consoles. They are going to be using a modified RV engine for the standalone version, maybe later on for the consoles they'll be able to modify it enough to the point where it could run

"On August 11, 2010, I wrote an article for our website titled, “And Now A Word From Our Team,” in which I said I’d be introducing the individual developers of Team Zed over the upcoming months. There were a small number of us who’d been working on some design and tech ideas up to that point, but that summer in 2010

Have you tried just reinstalling it? Have you also tried using play withsix, or another launcher?

:( Is it your machine, or is your mod just bugged?

It's not only dayz's "big map" the console version would have to worry about.
