I believe Gears of War has a decent split screen. I just used to play split screen Horde online really though, wasn't a big fan of the campaign.

Weird I was kind of thinking about this today. I have the Besaid island theme on my playlist and some of the soundtrack to The Beach and was thiking how much I love jazzy instrumental beach music like that, but don't know of any others.

I agree. I loved the game but I can't see the point in going back when I know I've dont everything and nothing will change? I got the 'best' ending, no point spending money to unlock more war assets or whatever when I don't need them.

Shame because it was honestly the most awesome part. No game has ever enticed me enough into collecting the collectables. The idea of hunting all the flags in AC1 made me feel physically sick, I could never do that to myself. But in AC2 I found myself searching for all the glyphs, trying to do all the puzzles myself

Sorry, I never intended to spoil anyone. I don't usually get this hyped over something so it slipped my mind. I also thought most people would have known by now?! When's an acceptable time to talk about it openly? :P

I honestly thought the end was going to give us a choice, like Mass Effect but better. I thought we were going to get to choose what to do and I was fully prepared to make my choice (not the one Desmond made, like you), but that never happened.

It felt like years. Probably exaggerated by the fact I was a kid and I only got to play it round my friends house at very spaced out intervals!

I consider it a deus ex machina (personally, I agree not everyone would see it this way), because although I was expecting something crazy to save them, I wasn't expecting that. I can't say what I thought it would be. I think because I honestly expected Desmonds story to continue right up until near the end of AC3, I

I'm pretty pissed about this whole Desmond thing. Five main games (not counting the various mobile/DS games etc where you played as Altair, so by extension, Desmond too), all this time seemingly training him to hone is own assassin skills, and then he's killed by some ridiculous deus ex machina.

These nefarious updates on these stupid harpists really should have been nipped in the bud.

I really hope this game is good... I can't believe it took them so long to create a sequel.

I think it's awful. I really couldn't care less what other people are doing on their games and I don't want people to bother with me on mine either. I just want to sit and play my game. Period.

Isn't this the same as what Resident Evil 6 is doing right now? They've already unlocked enough pre-purchases for the soundtrack to be released, and the next level is a free copy of Resi 5 I think.

GameSpy? I didn't even know that still existed. My last interaction with that was when Medal of Honour: Allied Assault came out and GameSpy was the client for playing online!

Apparently Assault Rifle Omniblade is a new mod for weapons... I'm 99% sure I unlocked this yesterday?

I'm glad to see they've make the analogue stick more like the 360s with the inner ring to make it more comfortable and intuitive, as I'm pretty much decided on making a shift from Microsoft to Sony next generation. The Playstation Plus thing is just too good an offer to pass up, but I couldn't stand the dualshock

It really isn't that well known. I don't think the majority of people would be able to explain the difference between the UK, Britain, Great Britain etc.

But they're not individual countries. Firstly, Britain technically excludes Northern Ireland, and secondly, a lot of people do prefer to be referred as from their constituent country. Not many people apart from people from USA know all the states. I could never name more than say, 20, so to ask anybody outside the US

As someone from England, it continues to rile me up when people don't understand the difference between Britain and England.

I don't see how this really confirms it being next-gen. The G4TV quote is the biggest indicator but that still doesn't really mean much... at least to me, anyway.
