If kids love him, then he does something interesting, and he has some talent. Just nothing interesting to you. Or I, really, but I sure as hell recognize that he's got real appeal to a demographic I'm not part of beyond his looks, and I respect that.

Uh... huh. Feel free to describe more, but by that description, he is not the problem here.

I'd say it still makes sense. There's a vast majority of internet users who are either too old or too young to realize that things they say on the internet have consequences. They post shit under their real names on facebook solely because they think it's the exact same thing as posting something on youtube under the

Even after Gamergate, Kotaku comments are better than Youtube comments. I felt motivated to comment on Gamergate articles for a good while before swearing it off; on Youtube, the comments are just too ridiculous to even want to try.

Absolutely. But I gotta say, the worst Kotaku troll beats the hell out of the average Game Grumps commenter. And from what little I've had the patience to look at, Game Grumps comments beat the hell out of Pewdiepie comments.

Gig as a stage hazard in Smash. Wide area, auto rings out anyone hit.

I respect your decision. But I was born in 1991. As far as I'm concerned, F-Zero is a nonsense word used in some Smash Bros trophies. And I am too much of a hardcore gamer to be in the primary demographic.

Odd seeing someone with a metal gear username being a dickish Nintendo fanchild.

Uh... what was the one episode with emo-simon? Because as far as I remember, there was emo-simon right up to an episode or two after

Would someone explain to me why, exactly, one wouldn't choose borderless windowed mode when given the option? I'm definitely biased, because I have two monitors and want to be able to switch between them, but even with one monitor, you get fullscreen view plus better alt-tabs. I'm genuinely interested in a downside.

I am, in no way, trying to say that FFXIII was good, or that it was FF-quality. It is in a series that is known for fine gameplay, good stories, and fantastic characters. FFXIII got bombarded because the story was incredibly shitty at face value and only good with a great deal of research, and the characters eat shit

But... but then it's still not quite right, because the art didn't look well, it looked good!

AC3 is pretty much exactly the Final Fantasy XIII of the series. It's not wrong to like it. It's not Colonial Marines. But it's definitely one of the worst games in the series, and it's a series that's good enough to make the low tier games look like utter shit next to the norm.

So true.

The new Guilty Gear is the first thing that comes to mind (certainly niche, but it's my most anticipated game, now that Bayo's out). Plus a whole hell of a lot of multiplatform games, which I'll be getting on PS4, despite owning all three consoles. Nintendo's the only one with a real big system mover left to come, and

This interested me enough to look up some of the information.

There is definitely value in fallacies. Shorthand that describes where a bad argument is logically flawed is very useful. In the right setting, alongside an actual argument.

I don't deny any of them. I refer, specifically, to Seoul Sister's original post.

I'm one of those who says that it's a pretty good game for $15. The combat starts off lousy, but once you get fire and airbending, it's a blast, even with a lot of the moves still locked. And it's only uphill from there. The presentation is fantastic. The story isn't good, but it fits right into my expectations of a

Response to a post which describes exactly why it's a problem for Gamergate to claim corruption is the sole issue: "Wow, you're a hateful troll! I refuse to address half a page of valid, well-reasoned arguments because I think you're attacking me when you're not!"
