There's plenty of other ways for it to be terrible. Like if you play for the story, or if you're a completionist. Really, the only way it isn't terrible is if you're playing purely for the combat and absolutely nothing else. Which if you are, fine. But for most people, the game is a sum of more than that one part, and

Yep, but Atlus is the distributor.

And your response to bad American television is to act like an entitled little shit who things their opinion is law. A stereotype often applied to... America.

It's literally been years since a trailer's music has sent me into a spiral of nostalgia and love, and I am so very excited that it's coming from an announcement trailer for this. Like, Half Life 3 excited.

"How it should be" isn't good enough when "how it should be" looks like it was designed by a lovecraftian horror.

As true as that is, it's sure not what that first comment looks like.

Eh, our date system still beats YYYY/MM/DD. That's just weird.

Do you mean the $15 check? Because that shouldn't be there, with a $1 check as a possibility. But the $1 check would be there for very good reason.

I understand that. I'm not implying that this is being done one after the other. It makes no sense from a marketing perspective to do Wii U after 3DS, and they've already said that each version will have an identical roster. The only other explanations for the delay I can come up with are a) it's something to do with

...Great, we agree?

As much as I hope the Wii U version has more content, my gut feeling is that the extra time would be to polish online mode. Which is nice, but nowhere near enough to make up for the delay.

A fun gathering of random people on the internet...?

All that is great, but unnecessary. I've played this, I know it's the inarguable game of the year, I know it's a 10/10; the only thing preventing an 11/10 is Oculus Rift support, so that I can put it on a real live goat and see what happens.

Very glad I wasn't the only one who immediately thought Saltybet.

I'm a lot more sympathetic with not knowing about this since reading Fahey's comments and finding out that a $1 preauthorization is possible. I'd always assumed my MMOs preauthorized the full amount as a rule. If you expect a $1 check, since that's apparently standard, you have very good reason to be annoyed here.

You want to play an MMO? Pay for that MMO. You can't? Tough shit. That is how the world works. Zenimax does not and should not have any obligation to change that.

I support this, because there's only two possibilities here, and both are positive.

Not wanting to support Nintendo by rejecting jokes at their expense isn't the same as wanting to oppose Nintendo in all things. I've got a Wii U for Pikmin, some virtual console games, and most of all for X and SSB. To me, that's worth the entry price. Doesn't make the things that are wrong with the system less wrong.

You are using it correctly.
