I can do that in my work truck. Its not factory, it was just cheaper to bypass the neutral safety switch than to replace it.

The want I feel for that truck makes my heart hurt. I’m gonna go take an aspirin before the stress hormones give me a heart attack.

I’d have trimmed that door pug off and jammed in one of those rubber expanding freeze plugs before I sold the car. Yea, its a bit of a pain to wrench it on and off every time you fill up, but then again, I get attached to my cars and will waste that 1 minute a week of extra work.

If its a shitty job and you don’t want to do it, why  the fuck would you want to do it more than once? Get the eliminator kit and be done with it. How much sleep do you plan on losing over this?

Even if I have no intention of trying something, or if I don’t even understand how it works, I still enjoy reading that somebody could do something neat with the proper ambition. I’ve been fucking around with little chips since the raspberry pi articles started years ago. It’s beyond my capabilities but I enjoy it.

Get all the parts hot tanked, and then sandblast the cooking surfaces and then season them like you would a cast iron pan. I’d feel safe eating off that.

I still have all my old R/Cs. You’re lucky, the lunchbox is still available. My local shop pushed Ofna, so everything was overpriced, and parts are impossible to find. I’ve bought whole cars off ebay just to get a part or two I need.
