Except, again, the extreme markup on diamonds and other jewelry.
Except, again, the extreme markup on diamonds and other jewelry.
Having worked in a jewelry store, I can tell you the markup on any piece of jewelry is routinely four times its cost, so a $100 item is marked $400. That way when it’s on sale for half price, there is still a 100% profit, and the consumer thinks they got a great half priced steal.
That’s fine, if you’re happy with your purchase, and understand the distinction.
Not diamonds.
When I was a teenage a male acquaintance raped a female friend. The male friend went to jail, but I couldn’t help think it should have been longer than 7 years. He had a history of escalating violence towards girls and women, starting with bullying them (me especially), hitting his girlfriend, raping the female friend…
He will get married in prison to his choice of brides, just watch.
All men have kill lists. Women need to realize this & stop fussing.
Yeah I’m right there with you but on the other hand boys will be boys, locker room talk, banter, only words & so on.
One of the notebooks allegedly contained an index page which “listed the interests of the women that Cook was pursuing, what he would do with them, and one column simply marked, ‘kill.’”
As someone who used to watch a metric shitload of lockup, I can assure you this guy tortures the people in his jails with barely livable conditions. Housing people outside in the desert where temperatures could reach 120 degrees. His philosophy was to make jail as miserable as possible so people never returned but…
It can’t be Greek life without long, pointless arguments about minor slights from a decade ago (or longer!), becoming shouting matches that go out into the street, followed by pretending the next morning that nothing happened.
I feel like collegiate Greek life would be much safer for everyone if it just involved eating souvlaki and moussaka and going to really long Orthodox church services.
Oh, that’s rich— Giuliani saying he doesn’t approve of men who are touchy-feely, when this is the interview where he paws her arm and doesn’t let go.
This is one of the things people with narcissistic personality disorder do: they threaten to sue. Constantly. It’s completely an intimidation tactic.
And he knows it. It was a key point of his weird rant to impress Billy Bush, that he can get away with it because he’s rich and famous.
Here’s a CNN host and Mark Cuban talking about how they each personally know women he’s done this to, but who probably won’t come forward. There are probably a LOT more women he’s assaulted/harassed.
He’s trying to stop women who haven’t come forward from doing so. I don’t think it will work and he probably inspired even more to tell their stories.
I wish someone would start a national fund for people who want to sue Donald. I’d love to see him spend the rest of his life and his money fighting lawsuits in court.
