How silly.

Any religion or spirituality involving humans would be flawed because of the human element. Maybe you mean that spirituality is beautiful because of how personal it is — or that it has the potential to motivate people to real sustainable change or personal agency.

You dislike exploitation and like the idea of

"I don't like her focus, she should change it".

This would be genuinely awesome to have as a limited edition anything. I have so many gamer friends I can gift this to.

Sometimes, the whole of gawkerdom seems like it's either this or manufacturing controversy.

This isn't really a problem with power imbalances or even which gender has more natural steroids than the other. It's more about the roles that women are supposed to aspire to in videogames. Men are often depicted as headstrong, determined and heroic, while women are relegated to things to be won and dangled as

The youtube level of discourse is decidedly low. Nothing of value lost. Unfortunately the same can be said of many outlets in the gaming community as well.

I HIGHLY recommend the enhanced edition. It has all the classes and kits from BGII+Throne, better quest tracking, fixed scripts, updated cutscenes, more characters, completely redone art...

I couldn't resist laughing.

Imagine a video of a person that lasts 3 seconds; they are jumping from one platform to another.

OK, ya got me. I'll do it. Sign me up.

Take my money.

No no no. This is the lazy handjob of console reveals on the eve of Microsoft's press conference. They are going to rush to market with a shitbox design and I will have to wait for the redesign.

You and I will not get along. My pride will not allow it.

I am really curious about the multiplayer, but I finally threw down some money on this title and am really happy that I did. This, Dragon's Crown and Dark Souls II are my must-haves this year

He's just crushingly insulated and naive. I want to hurt the protagonist because i've floated through life in a bracing storm of idealized female relationships fostered by poor boundaries and sense of self.

I read it because I am curious if it will eventually be affirming in some way. It isn't looking too likely.

Ugh, me too. I can't get over how condescending I am to coworkers about their choices ('Heaven's Lost Property'? For reaaaaaal?), but I gotta stop capping my anime glut with Henneko.

I scrub and scrub, but I can't get cleeeeean.

So, going forward, let me define DRM as 'Digital rights management (DRM) is a class of controversial access control technologies[1][2] that are used by hardware manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders, and individuals with the intent to limit the use of digital content and devices after sale. DRM is any

Now playing

I will leave the game running at work and people are always curious as to what I am playing/listening to.

DRM is more about locking down a specific copy to a registered user. Cartridges aren't a DRM implementation because you can freely share the cart, just not copy it. It's not restricted to the original purchaser's console.

You are blending copy protection and DRM, but they aren't the same thing.

Media choice isn't the same as DRM; you are thinking of copy protection or password protections, which are fundamentally different in their implementation. Cartridges can be copied, protected files can be hacked, persistent internet connections can be subverted.

no they weren't. DRM methods have been implemented for a long time — like puzzle decoders included in the boxes of games on floppies. Instruction booklet reference lines, etc. DRM exists to prevent unofficial copies, not to replicate a physical model for consoles, because even those can be subverted.
