100% PC’s back then were NOT just plug and play like they are today.  No setting master/slave drives, setting dip switches and IRQ’s so all your stuff would work.  Big fat IDE cables boring beige boxes lol.  PC folks have it SO much easier these days.

A lot of Gen X did Lan parties too, they were just ahead of the curve. The parties were a lot of geeky wholesome fun.
