You are absolutely correct. I was looking for US Airlines when I was scanning the list of mid-airs. One thing to keep in mind is that the FAA is far more strict towards US-based airlines when it comes to safety than it is towards foreign airlines. With that being said, the FAA didn't make TCAS mandatory until 1993
