Don't Airs already have a much-longer-than-average battery life? I'd be happy with a solid eight hours and a processor with a little more grunt.
Hellcat and Monster? That's a sweet set of rides. Maybe a potential upgrade path for my WRX and Ninja...
Nice wallpaper. It reminds me a lot of the Finger Lakes in upstate NY.
Yeah, the screen part looks awesome, but it kind of looks like a really cool phone docked into a battery pack or some other kind of adapter.
I've seen this texture before... it's not so appealing on food.
What's a "trackerssho" ?
Yeah, seriously. Have you seen the "Plex for Home Theater" interface, the one that's based on XBMC? Someone needs to figure out how to make that the new web (and/or built-into-a-TV and/or usable-with-a-Chromecast) interface. Heck, I'd sign up for a Plex Pass for that feature alone.
Cool, thanks I'll check out that link.
Wait, it's not? Crap, I'd better take this Galaxy S3 off my wrist then. It's outdated anyway.
You're right, this is an accessory to a smartphone, which people spend $600 on and is outdated in six months.
Dry rice? Ick. Was it jasmine or wild or some other variety that might smell like something edible?
I think he just has a mentality of "Can I eat it? What is it?", in that order. :)
There's a reason some call it "la purga"... and why they tell you to fast before partaking. ;)
Here's my cat eating plain rice noodles- no salt, no oil, just plain noodles cooked in water.
That's my approach too, not politically motivated as much as risk-averse. If SS is gone by the time I retire, I'll still be able to support myself. And if it's still there, I'll have that much more for unexpected expenses (or luxuries, or be able to donate my own money, etc).
I'm maxing out my 401k ($17500/yr, 25% of my income) plus 5% employer match, and maxing out a Roth IRA ($5500/yr). So, that's ~$1916/mo before the match, and ~$2208 including it. Any money saved beyond that goes into a taxable investment account, and while that's not specifically a retirement account, if I can…
That and the salt. My cat eats tortilla chips, pasta, and peanuts.
Gawker Media doesn't feel the need to label sponsored content anymore. They're also apparently confused about what "cool" means.
I'm going to miss these reviews as much if not more than the show itself. Seriously, they're one of the highlights of my io9 experience. Do you review anything else in this style? If not, will you?
