While they are both refereed to as "supplements", actual vitamins by themselves are usually fairly safe. It's when you get into shit that makes outrageous claims(ie weight loss supplements) that there are problems.

They actually don't sell anything above a 42W. It took me less than 5 minutes to figure that out. It may be listed as a size, but there is nothing available in that size.

This was my exact thought too. It isn't a fair comparison because Old Navy doesn't sell a comparable product for men. A 42" waist is basically an XXL in men's clothing, which is the same size that Women's Regular clothing goes up to at Old Navy.
