Original Xbox 'Duke' controller being replaced by the much smaller 'S' controller? Which is the basis for the 360 controller? Which is the basis for the 180 controller? All because the Japanese didn't like the original Duke controller because it was much too big for their hands. Ringing any bells for you?

Boot is boot because it comes from Boot Locker from stagecoaches, and it's where you put the luggage. Not sure about bonnet, but I'm willing to bet that also has something to do with stagecoaches, handsome cabs, etc.

Absolute rubbish. They spent $18.5m on Aliens, compared to $50m on Alien 3. If it comes down to a cost basis, they more than paid enough. But what exactly comprises a 'true' Aliens sequel, anyway? One that ups the ante even more? That's fine, if you don't want to have to put any thought or effort into it. But Alien 3

Na. Newt had to die. Had to. The four main movies are Ripley's story. Taking away the surrogate family Ripley had built up from the previous movie was absolutely necessary, because there's no room to allow 2 or three other continuing characters in a film series that's all about how Ripley's fight is ultimately a

Oh god yes. Especially, AvP Requiem. That was a new low. And yeah, you're absolutely right. We could have had Crowe or Frost, Apone or Hudson... literally any of the other Marines's we didn't see explicitly die, instead of trying to it Hicks into a story that didn't need him.

The Earth Hive Trilogy was great. I have the pre-retconn version. But it's like all these things - the movie takes precedence over the comic book or the video game. There was a whole run of post Star Trek III comics that took things in a completely new direction, and re-introduced the mirror universe - all wiped out

Bringing Hicks back in Colonial Marine's is about as canon as the sequence in Spaceballs with John Hurt. Besides, Sega published Aliens: Infestation on the DS, set in the same timeframe as Colonial Marines, only the Sulaco ended up over Mars. So, I doubt we can rely on them to provide 100% watertight plot devices.

Lots of people think Newt/Hicks should never have been killed off.

He constantly sounds like he's telling you off, like you've been a naughty child.

OBAAAAAMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Phew. For a minute there, I thought you were going to be all "Obama is a muslim and he's not even from the United States and Obamacare and waaaaaaaah". I see so many stupid trolling comments on the web, I can't tell when people are not actually being dicks anymore ;D

One of many what? Idiots? Because what he said was idiotic.

Meanwhile, they've just shipped the millionth Raspberry Pi. Would be intereting to know how many Ouya's are out there.

Fair enough - you're probably right about the pricing. I like the look of both machines for certain tasks. Certainly, the Ouya could be an awesome little indie console, but they need to partner up with the Google Play store so people can buy one version of a game or app. Since we're seeing more and more of these

I wouldn't exactly say the Raspberry Pi is massively overhyped. Indeed, there was a wealth of hype surrounding the Ouya, and so far it hasn't exactly lived up to it. However, both devices have their merits as well as drawbacks. They're not really competing in the same market space though - Ouya is a much more

Ah yes, North Korea. That shining paradigm of human rights & democracy.

PS3 System Software Update (v.4.50) [Sony]

So... everything you can pretty much do with a Raspberry Pi but for three times the money?

To get the proper USB controller is over $200.

Didn't you hear? Jon Snow knows nothing.
