The textures are generally higher res & there’s a less visible texture pop in? (ie, when you walked into a new area it used to load really low res textures first then replace them with higher res textures gradually, but the remaster doesn’t seem to do that)

Apparently until fairly recently no one had dumped & analysed the Saturn cd controller cpu rom because it had fairly strong security, which probably made emulating the machine harder, but I think it was cracked fairly recently, so with any luck Saturn emulation will improve fairly soon.

It’s a while since I last played about with it so I don’t know what the current version is like, but SSF was fairly good last time I tried it.
