To be fair, RTS rather lends itself to twitchy reflexes, given that one of it’s advertised aspects is real time. TBS seems to cater more to those that prefer strategy driven gaming that doesn’t require quick reflxes.

And thats exactly the problem in a way, RTS sort of killed itself by promoting twitchy, fast gameplay over prolongue combat with interesting units and strategies.

We live in an age where people want to play something quick for a few minutes, either because they lack time or interest.
