Really? Since opinions can't be inaccurate, I don't see how I am. I'm not resting my words against facts, except that XP is good for older applications that won't install/run in native 64 bit OS. Esp since i didn't go on a rant, listing flaws of 8.

Don't get me wrong, I do agree, XP is at an age it's only useful for certain purposes incompatible with modern OS, esp 64bit. I have an older model laptop I use for XP (Well my gave it to my daughter but it still holds my data) and a unused desktop capable of running XP I believe, mostly for the purposes of old gaming…

7 is far better then XP, I still use a laptop with XP on it for 16bit and older applications, 7 just destroys it honestly in capability and performance (supports SSD's much better then XP can, if it can lol^^).

XP is quite compatible with JAWS (I'm sure Zoomtext and others as well), most visually impaired use XP still, esp the older generations, but Vista/7 is quite compatible as well, I think even 8 runs it. XP will still run fine, it's unlikely she does anything dangerous enough to warrant upgrading.
